Connect Pipedrive in 3 steps

Install from the Pipedrive Marketplace
Search for IssueBadge Certificates in the Pipedrive Marketplace (or use the Install button on this page), click Install and allow access. The app reads people and deals, writes two person fields and adds notes; nothing else.
Add your IssueBadge API key
After installing you land on the app's settings page inside Pipedrive (also under Tools and apps → Marketplace apps → IssueBadge Certificates → Settings). In IssueBadge open Settings → API, copy the key, paste it, pick a default badge and click Save settings. The key is stored for your Pipedrive company and never shown again.
Issue from a person, a deal or a list
Open any person or deal and choose Issue certificate from the actions menu (the "..." button). In the People or Deals list, tick the rows you want, or tick select-all with a filter applied, and choose the same action. Check the recipients, change the badge if needed and click Issue certificates.
Each person gets the certificate link in the IssueBadge certificate field and the date in IssueBadge issued on, plus a note. People with a value in the certificate field are skipped next time.
Frequently asked questions
Which Pipedrive plan do I need?
Any plan. Marketplace apps and custom fields are available on all Pipedrive plans. Installing needs a user who is allowed to install Marketplace apps, usually an admin.
Where does the recipient's email come from?
From the person's primary email in Pipedrive. For a deal, the app uses the person linked to the deal. You can edit the name and email in the Issue certificate window before sending.
What is written back to Pipedrive?
Two person custom fields, created the first time you issue: IssueBadge certificate (the public link) and IssueBadge issued on (the date). A note with the link is added to the person and, when issuing from a deal, to the deal. The note can be switched off in settings.
Can the same person get two certificates?
Not by accident. People with a value in the IssueBadge certificate field are shown as already issued and skipped. Clear the field to issue again.
What permissions does the app ask for?
Contacts (read and update people, add notes), contact fields (create the two custom fields) and deals read-only (to find the person behind a deal).
Is my IssueBadge API key safe?
It is stored server-side for your Pipedrive company and never sent to the browser or to Pipedrive. Uninstalling the app deletes it together with the Pipedrive tokens.
