How to Connect Webex to IssueBadge

Create an IssueBadge Account

Sign up for a free account at app.issuebadge.com/register. No credit card required.

Navigate to Integrations

After logging in, click More in the left sidebar, then click Integrations. Find the Webex integration card and click Connect.

Authorize Webex Access

You will be redirected to Webex to authorize IssueBadge. We only request access to your meeting list and participant data. We do not access recordings, chat messages, or any other content.

Import Meetings & Participants

Once connected, click Import Meetings to fetch your recent Webex meetings. Then select a meeting and click Import Participants to pull in attendee data (names, emails, duration).

Issue Certificates

Participants are saved as a recipient list. Create or select a certificate template, attach the recipient list, and issue certificates. All recipients receive their certificate via email with a unique verification link.

How to Use the Webex Integration

Importing Meetings

After connecting, go to the Webex dashboard and click "Import Meetings". This fetches your meetings from the last 30 days. You can re-import to get new meetings at any time.

Importing Participants

Select any meeting from the list and click "Import Participants". IssueBadge pulls participant names, emails, and attendance duration. These are saved as a recipient list you can use to issue certificates.

Issuing Certificates

Go to "Send to Recipient" in the left sidebar. Select your certificate template, choose the recipient list created from Webex, and click send. Certificates are delivered via email with unique verification links and QR codes.

How to Remove the Webex Integration

Log in to your IssueBadge account and go to More > Integrations in the left sidebar.

Find your Webex connection and click Disconnect.

All access tokens are revoked and the connection is removed. Previously issued certificates remain valid.

Optionally, you can also remove IssueBadge from your Webex account settings at settings.webex.com.

You can issue certificates to unlimited Webex meeting participants. Our system handles bulk certificate generation for meetings with hundreds of participants.

What happens to my data if I remove the integration?

When you disconnect, all access tokens are revoked and deleted. Imported meeting data and recipient lists remain in your IssueBadge account unless you manually delete them. Issued certificates remain valid and verifiable.
